Permanent exhibition in the Old Synagogue, Erfurt
Exhibited are documents about the structural history of the building, which is the oldest Synagogue in central Europe that's completely preserved from floor to ceiling. Also shown are other exceptional historical testimonies of Erfurt, among them a unique treasure, that was found in 1998.
Medieval manuscripts illustrate the advanced spiritual life of the Erfurt community.
